The success of Henry's Big Boy Steel model led to the Big Boy Steel Carbine, with the same matte-finish blued steel frame and round barrel, this time in 16.5" length. It has a ventilated rubber recoil pad, sling swivel studs, and rifle-style forend cap instead of the usual carbine-type barrel band. It comes with Henry's glove-friendly oversized lever, and a seven-round magazine capacity. The Big Boy Carbine has checkered walnut furniture, is drilled & tapped for optional scope mounts, and uses the same fully adjustable rear sight with white diamond insert and a beaded front sight as the standard Big Boy, with the same sliding transfer bar "safety" system in its hammer.
